The Total Office Story..

The Total Office story started nearly 20 years ago drawn up on the back of a napkin in the most unlikely of places.. a hospital.

Designing and delivering a first class customer experience were not common titles you could pick up at a book store, though it was the very core on which the organization was built on.

While its founder Jacob Peters is no longer with us, his values are still reflected in every process through the breath of the company.

The Total office continues to push forward innovating on its service and delivery while encompassing wider aspects of the workspace experience which include ergonomic consulting, acoustic design & workspace wellbeing.

Our History

1997

Started as a 4 person team primarily as a Teknion Dealership with its first landmark project – Emirates NBD Head Quarters

2000

An introduction to Italian manufacturing brands enhancing the executive suites offering a perfect compliment to its North American counterpart.

2003

An introduction of the second generation. Total Office’s first website & high speed internet changing how we communicate forever.

2005

A redesigned space testing the waters as a working showroom and showcasing open office environments

2007

A newly built 20,000 sqf facility of warehousing space give us the ability to service replacements and parts within 48hrs.

2009

Abu Dhabi showroom opens as the first LEED Credited facility in the capital. Leading through environmental sustainability.

2011

Our new workspace features 7,500 sqf of working showroom accredited as a LEED Silver facility

2014

The move to cloud based technologies across the organization allows us to be faster, more collaborative and connected to the customer.
